Jie Zheng became the first Chinese woman ever to advance to the semifinals at Wimbledon with her 6-2, 5-7, 6-1 victory Nicole Vaidisova. In addition to that, she is also the first woman wild card entrant to reach this stage at the All England Club. She will play Serena Williams on Thursady for a place in the finals. Hate to break it to you, Jie, but I don’t think you’ll be winning too many games against Serena, but you never know.
