In more ways than one. As a celebratory gesture after his win over Frank Dancevic, Novak Djokovic raised one finger into the air. Really, though he should be holding three fingers in the air because last time I checked, he was the third ranked player in the world. It’s the little things, Novak, that make people dislike you. This haughty arrogance just irks most people. And that orange shirt really doesn’t help either.

Ana Ivanovic has been enjoying a summer vacation in Mallorca, Spain for the last two weeks. The rumor is that she wants to invest in some real estate on the island. Oh and her tour guide for the trip? None other than Rafa Nadal. Me thinks something is going on between these two. Rafa gave Ms. Ivanovic a ride on his private plane after Indian Wells and now this. And I know Rafa has a girlfriend, but what man can resist Ana?

In what looks like an attempt to help quiet the Maria Sharapova/Camilla Belle romance rumors, the people at mariasharapova.com have removed all the pictures of Maria and Camilla from the photoblog within 2 days of them being posted. What are you guys thinking? You should be well aware that within minutes of those photos being posted hundreds of people are taking them and posting them all over the Internet. Now it just looks blatantly obvious to everyone that you are trying to hide something. Or maybe they just saw my previous post where I call Maria a dork. In which case, Maria, I’m sorry for calling you a dork. However, I highly doubt that’s the case. One thing is for sure though; mariasharapova.com: FAIL.

She’s not going to play Indian Wells and nobody’s gonna make her, not even the WTA’s new rules.
“I’m not going to Indian Wells, that’s just the bottom line.”…. “Some things you have to stand up for,” “There’s been a lot of people in the past that are my race that have stood up for a lot more than not playing Indian Wells. That’s the least I can do.”
Good for you, Serena. At least some people still stand up for what they believe.

Ashley talked about her recent Playboy appearance and some other stuff too.
On Fit Sex:
“I do think athletes have better sex,” she asserts with a bashful giggle. “Who wants a waify girl with no definition to her body? I like that I have some power and that everything’s tight.”
On Lesbos in the Locker Room:
“Tennis players don’t mind showing off their bodies,” she said. “Often in the locker room I feel other girls’ eyes on me.”
On What She Thinks About The World’s Foremost Tennis Sex Symbol:
“Anna [Kournikova] is stunning to look at, but she’s probably a bit damaged from what she’s been through. That’s how she acts — a bit damaged.”
Oh my God, Ashley. I cannot wait until the mag comes out and you can cease to be relevant again because you obviously have no idea what is coming out of your mouth sometimes. And to tell you the truth, I’m sick of blogging about you.

She’s a dork for taking this picture in the first place, but she’s even more of a dork for putting it on her photo blog. That is all.

What is this? A two handled racquet, seriously? Has our sport really come to this? People, just learn to play with a regular racquet. If you can’t do that, you shouldn’t be playing tennis.
