The diva, Mary Pierce, has been given the green light by doctors to return to the tour as reported by French newspaper, l’Equipe. Mary is now training for the French Open, which kicks off May 26th. Pierce has been out of action since she tore her ACL on court in the fall of 2006. For those of you who have not seen the injury here it is. But, first a disclaimer: It is quite disturbing. So watch with caution.

A big thanks to Robin Soderling for upsetting Andy Roddick in the Memphis quarterfinals. He won in straight sets 7-6 (6), 6-3. These matches just show the world where Andy Roddick really belongs, losing in the quarterfinals of a small tournament to a player ranked in the 40s.
